Hi MM78,
if I pay my eb fee with with a gift card, which has different information than eb account, will this raise a flag?

The poster does bring some good info and interesting scenarios. I myself pay and link each of my PayPal accounts to my 5+ seller accounts that I am actively using

Probably not. However not worth the risk. if ebay does a manual review of the account it could be discovered. Most gift cards can be used without adding any personal information.. I would recommend getting cards that don't need info added & only use that card on 1 account till it's used up.

You can pay your seller fees in several ways. PayPal is a safe, convenient way to pay your eBay fees. By Paypal you can pay easily and safely.

Very well written with a Perfect "step by step" process

Doesn't eBay make you accept an agreement to get charged with your paypal account for fees before you can even list items? Happened every time for each of my accounts.

You accept the agreement between PP and eB BUT it doesnt stop you from paying the fees in advance...

Hello everyone

I have 15 years old paypal account that I still use it to buy things from ebay. Is it possible to use it with new stealth account? and pay fees with VCC Gift card.

No, with stealth you make a new paypal and a new ebay. NEVER link a old personal paypal once used with a different ebay account to a new stealth account. This is a recipe for disaster

Hi guys, I'm new here. Trying my best to understand things. My 2 questions (sorry if they've been answered:

1) I keep seeing that its a bad idea to pay eBay fees with PayPal but I don't see WHY. What if I leave a couple hundred bucks surplus in my account to cover the fees? I suppose theres always the possibility of the PayPal balance not being able to cover the required fees for whatever reasons (payment holds, pending payments, etc), but in the event that it was always kept up to par... there would be no problem, right?

2) Lets say we DO have zero balance in our PayPal, and ebay draws fees from the bank account tied to your PayPal. But let's say the associated bank account is a business account , NOT a personal account (e.g., biz checking for XYZ trading co.). When PayPal forces the withdrawal from your bank, would they still see your personal name on the account? Or just the business name "XYZ". Would they see the address?

Thanks!

1) You said it correctly kirkland - you dont have to risk eb dipping into a pp where there are payments on hold or pending payments etc. - it's not huge thing but if you have a few hundred bucks in the pp free and clear, then by all means use it. I myself like to pay fees ahead of schedule and avoid eb touching my pp, regardless of funds in it.

2) When pp withdrawasal by pp - but it can be seen on manual review.

I'm sure I'm a day last and 15 pages short for here's my question!

As for reinstating my ebay late fees will i have problems linking a fresh new PP if my prior one had been shutdown? Will mismatch names be a problem?
