sellersourcebook
I got sick of the time spent on listing on ebay & remembered back in the day when I had a flourishing unsuspended ebay selling account I used to use SSB (Sellersourcebook) to list my items.
I am currently using a stealth account & decided to try SSB again for creating my listings, they are fairly good on price & have some pretty cool tools for listing, but then I thought what if I used the SSB account on a computer that was linked to a suspended account, would it be linked???
Well I decided to ask SSB & these are my questions & SSB'S replies.
Q) Hi,
I am thinking of using your website for my auctions (mainly ebay)
However I have one question do you share your customers IP with the auction sites?
So if I used SSB for my listings will SSB be sharing my IP with ebay?
The reason I ask is I do not want ebay linking my account’s……
A)Thank you for your email. No, we do not share any information with eBay. You will be required to link your SSB account to your eBay account however, this way you are able to launch to eBay.
Q)Thank you for the quick reply, that is good to hear :-)
so when I list via SSB the listings show your IP address to ebay? is that how it works?
A)The images do will show a URL that is tied to your SSB account. For example, this eBay item 161674056945, the images are linked to the users SSB not their PC or IP.
Q)Thank you Melissa, Ok so the images are linked to the SSB account that's good
but when the auction is listed though SSB, who's IP shows up on ebay?
A) Since your SSB account is web based, the listing would be listed from our server IP's. At no time is the SSB account on your PC , it is all web based on our servers.
Just wanted to share this information for anyone who might have been wondering themselves, because the little crappy notebook I use for my
eBay Stealth account, is hard work for listing & I wanted to use my personal pc to create the listings on SSB & now I can
