Well of course you could still get limited no matter what your selling, it may be lesser risk but theirs always the chance of getting limited. Also include the brand name in the title and saying some thing like GENERIC but like GUCCI can still bring unwanted attention
It depend, what these "generic" items are. And are they so "generic" in legal aspects. For example, if it is a generic carton box or a blank noname CD - it should not be a problem. But if it is a china ifoun charger without aply logo, and "compatible with ifoun" - it can cause issues.
no matter what you sell on ebay will draw attention we used to sell toothbrush heads from china and got threw of ebay for selling them got 3 notices from the supposed rites owner and we were kicked of ebay
we believe it was another seller who set us up
the same almost happened in amazon we got notices from the rites owner and had to pull our listings just in case we got kicked of it
so no mater how generic an item is there always a way to kick you off
When selling generic items, Should there be any problems.
What sort of problems can occur e.g limitations for other reasons
Selling generic products can most of the time making great revenue due to the low cost but usually due to the nature of the product being a generic the quality build is usually not good and in the long run they can take your account down because you will have a lot of people complaining and leaving negative feedback or opening ebay buyer disputes because they are not happy.
Either way it is a double edge sword in one hand, you can buy low cost generic items and make a lot of money and on the other side, I believe any account that you do this with will always be short-lived!
No matter what you do so you have to weigh out your options do you want to sell name brand non-generic items and make less money in your pocket or sell generic items and have to make more stealth accounts because of it that's what you need to figure out.
