Angry Inappropriate Returns / Refunds

Guys , i'm from UK and a lot of my recent customers returning the packing / labels a lot of them aren't in new condition anymore.

How do you guys usually deal with these kind of customers ?

Rejecting the return might risk a negative feedback or possibly a low DSR.

i'm sucking everything they sent back now and do a full refund at this point, but i'm thinking of a way to protect myself. Anyone can share me a shed of light ?

approximately 2 weeks after shipped.

They just threw away the packing and labels, 40-100 pounds.

i don't mind them returning, but at least keep things in 1 piece if they're not sure if they're keeping the item yet.

What is the reason for the return?
If it is not broken or damaged, you can write on the listings on in the return request :

Please return items, in the same condition it was received, New & unopened.

you could also mention you charge a fee for items not returned in original condition?

I think this is a really tough situation. eBay almost always sides with the buyer. Even if you took pictures of the item first it is your word against theirs and they have the money back guarantee.

Practically every return is inappropriate anymore. Heck, eBay messages is now set up in a deceptive way so when the buyer asks to return something, it opens a nice little case for you and places a hold on your money.

thanks Bunneh . perhaps i'll try and do that, its really annoying when you charge the buyers with anything and they either leave you a negative feedback or give you a low DSR.

applebaum , ovidiu you both are right, all returns are inappropriate nowadays, eBay don't give a Fxxx to sellers anymore, all they want to do is compete with Amazon.

Is there any chance this is a competitor?

If not, check the quality of your items.

Ask yourself what, if anything is causing these returns>

You have to protect your account as best as possible.
