Just figured out my email linked to my ebay was hacked...

I just figured out the hotmail account that was getting emails for one of my ebay accounts was hacked and I cant log in....

Can I fix this? If I change my email address on ebay, will it send a link to my old email address asking to confirm?

I changed emails about 4 months ago and it did not send a confirmation to my old account. Change your email quickly before the hacker does a password reset on your eBay. The hacker could effectively reset all accounts/passwords associated to that email!

When changing your email a confirmation email is sent to the new email only. A notification email is also sent to the old email but it cannot be used for any purpose - it is just to notify of the email address change.
