If I sell over 20 thousand but less than 200 transaction does ebay ask for the SSN?.
Does anyone have any experience with this?. I'm just trying to save a stealth account. I can sell 25 thousand and 185 transactions. Does this keep me within the range of no problems?. Thanks.

Going over 20k+ with 10 transactions will cause problems, same with 300, under 1k$. As far as I know even if you go near 150/15k too fast it might cause problem.

Paypal can ask for your SSN/EIN when you only have 5000 in sales with 10 transactions. They ask based on projected sales...whether you sell to your limits or not. If you do not pass 20k AND 200 transactions, they will not send you a 1099 to file at the end of the year for your taxes. This does not mean they wont ask you for your info still.

MOST part that ice seen is when you get around 19.6k give or take a day they will ask. Even if you sell less then 200 items, they will still ask and vice versa because when you hit one of those marks you get a request for ssn. Be on the look out when you start nearing one of the two or *WAP*

Yes if you read their policy its 200/20K, so if you go over 20K you get the request.
If you do this towards the end of the year, chances are you won't but there are no guarantees. Keep in mind this is not a paypal thing, this is the GOVERNMENT requesting the information threw the means of paypal.
