How to TURN OFF EBAY promotion and survey calls etc
Sometimes (or a lot of times) EBAY likes to call phone numbers and send emails for promotions and surveys. It is speculation that if they call a non-working number that EBAY could possibly flag the account due to a non-working number. Here is how to turn off these automated calls and messages from EBAY. This will not stop calls from EBAY reps if you are having issues with your account.
How to turn off promotions and surveys for eBay:
*Hover over "My EBAY" tab
*Go down to "Selling" and click on it
*Click on the "Account" Tab
*Click on the "Communication Preferences" link on the left side of page
*Scroll down to the "Promotions and Surveys" section at the bottom. Click on "Show"
*Uncheck the following:
"eBay surveys and research"
"General email promotions"
"Seller email promotions"
"Phone updates and promotions"
"SMS/MMS updates and promotions"
"Automated Phone Systems"
*When you are finished, do not forget to click "SAVE"
This can be an important step so that your stealth account is not getting phone calls, emails, text messages from eBay. If they call a non-working phone number, it could trigger a red flag on your account, leading them to investigate further. This is strictly my opinion
