If you are in the USA, then in my experience this has been The BEST. Comes in 25, 50, and a few other sizes and one size that allows you to choose (which is pictured) with the other amounts having a different color stripe where you see the purple on this one.

1) no recurring no-use charge that drains the card while you don't use it (at least for the first year)

2) no annoying log-in/sign-up page/process to check the balance

3) as long as you have the card, it's ok if you forgot the balance or the registration name on it, you can just look up the info on it, activity on it, and balance by typing in the card number and exp.

4) Absolutely nothing is needed to register, sign up, or send in- but the address you use has to be a real life address that comes up on a map. You can't put in 222 Wonderbread Ave.

5) I've used it for years with the stealth guide with never the slightest problem. I dont even pick up other cards after using these. **NOTE: I don't use Amazon, only Ebay.

6)Only down side is that only 1/3 or less places that carry cards have these, once you find a place remember it.

Not sure if you noticed....but the OP is in the UK...not in USA. They have completely different card providers.

best advice I can give you is to mess around with prepaid cards and entropay. I believe entropay takes a few days to show code, while certain gift cards are instant. Test some options out and see what's most convenient to you.

The problem with Entropay is they only allow you to have 10 cards open at any given time. And they are VERY SELFISH by not allowing business accounts in the USA. But if you are in the UK and can get a business account with them, then you can have unilimted cards.

This as well. I've tried having multiple conversations with them about increasing the limit and they did seem to be open about it. But the problem I was having was being able to do a stealth deposit to fund the entropay account. I must have tried 15 different cards before throwing in the towel. They also seem to do a good job of tracking IPs, so multiple entropay accounts would be a headache

I messed with Ecopayz as well and they have a similar limit (but I think its closer to 20-30 if you have a higher initial deposit)

Ralphs pre paid visa card. You call up and can add any name address and phone number to it. 24/7 Just keep it as a temporary card no questions asked. Love it
