Default Is it normal to have a starting selling limit of 1000/25k?

I opened up an account a week ago and I was given a limit of 1000/25k on the same day I opened the account.

Is this normal?

No. It means that everything came together just right. This is the highest starting limit that eBay gives on new accounts and it is fairly rare.

There is another guy here who has been posting that he has just resigned himself to making only 5/500 accounts. If he sees this post, I don't think we will be able to contain him!

I'm going to open another one using the same method and see if I get the same limit.

This should be interesting.

Well, I can say from experience that it is difficult.

I use several techniques to make a 1000/25000 account and even when I do everything exactly right, I am only getting them 50% of the time. Most people don't get them more than 10% of the time.

So, if you find a way to make every account a 1000/25000 account, then I would like to talk to you about a business proposition...

I did exactly what I did for the first account and they just gave me the same 1000/25K limit on the second account.

Are you sure these are actually as rare as you say?

Only drawback is it takes a couple of hours to go through the process and it gets boring. I will try it again tomorrow, but I'm done for the night.

Yes, creating a good account takes time. It is not as simple as registering on eBay and pulling an address out of the air.

Well, you have either stumbled upon something that works, or you got lucky. It is hard to know without more accounts. My suggestion to do 5 accounts. If you get 5 out of 5, or even 4 out of 5, then I would say you are on to something.

It's so much easier to get them in USA compared to UK. I've been getting low limits, need real banks in UK.

I had discovered a method to making these accounts like clockwork. Secret on here. Can't be told I'm guessing sense these are what the account sellers are probably doing. I really would like to become a merchant myself ):

Third one I just made has the same 1000/25K limit.

Guess whatever I'm doing is bulletproof.

I see lots of guys getting such limits for brand new accounts. It seems that EB did too much suspensions lately, and now they are trying to regain their profits.
