Default Verizon Mifi 2200? Still Good For Stealth?

Ebay has an offer $95 for a verizon flashed mifi 2200 that charges $5 a month (will probably need more than the MB amount $5 buys). From what I've read in forums, they work great at changing ip without too many repeats. Is this still advisable?

Few yes or no questions :D

You have to go to verizon to sign up for this specific plan correct?
Can you pay verizon through paypal?
Can it handle 5-10 accounts, and switching between them every day without getting in trouble?

When you purchase a flashed device the seller will have a MY VERIZON account set up for you, so u can just go online with verizon wireless and sign in using the user name and password that u received with the device

You can than pay with a credit or debit card, you can use a gift card like vanilla visa or whatever, or you can purchase a verizon reload card at many retailers and than use that to reload

I prefer vps since its static. I cant answer your second question. It goes against what this forum preaches. We got to keep the newcomers in mind.

No, please don't show up at a Verizon asking for $5/Month Plan, your going to look like your crazy.
The Mifi ALREADY comes programmed with the $5/Month Plan.

Don't know and doubt it.

You can use it with 10,000 accounts....just need to log all the IP changes.

I order to refill the Mifi you need to call a 1-800 number (provided by the seller) and reload with a debit card. I'm not 100% sure but it's best you ask the seller before purchasing the device.

So wait, do you just buy any old Verizon Mifi 2200 device and it automatically has the $5/month plan when you log in to pay for it? Or do you have to buy a specific 2200 device from a specific seller to get this deal?

You started a post :

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-tr...-lte-mifi.html

Good to keep it that way than bring out an old post - on search though...but best to either start thread or make post - not double post.

Oh, I see. That almost sounds unbelievable (Unlimited mobile internet for $5), but the reviews ring true... I wonder if this is some kind of loophole that Verizon is going to close someday?

I disable flash/images/etc. so pages load faster on the cellular. I didn't have issue with Tmobile's 3G while it had it ($20/month?), and it too was 'unlimited', though apparently they throttled it down to 10kB/sec past 2GB. I wonder if that's what Verizon is doing, throttling it down from the get go?

Verizon does throttle down at some point but in the beginning....it's lighting fast. I don't use the 2200, I got the 890-LE334 flashed.

I looked up that model number but I can't find it. Are you sure that's the name, i'd love to get something faster. And are you still paying $5 a month?
