great topic i ship out very small items and have my own shipping .
i have my own stamps,
and i ship out regular sized envelopes via usps,
i have to add 6 peices of card into each envelope in order for the envelope to actually ship due to the tracking number.
is there anyway i can scale down this process that someone might have in mind?
The real problem is writing all the buyers name/addy on the envelopes...
i don't know what i can uutilize to amke this easier,
an envelope printer?
Buy 250-500 small bubble mailers for like 50 bucks and buy 500 labels for like 15 bucks... pack print and stick em on the mailer. 5 minutes turned into 30 seconds.. and it looks more professional and less chance of the package to be ripped open or lost

There are free tools all over the internet which allow you to print a "postage-less" shipping label. I think that would look a bit more professional than formatting your own in MS Word. But either way is better than hand-writing addresses. You want your buyers to think you are a credible business rather than someone selling out of their garage..

What if there was a way to auto transfer money out of paypal when the balance reaches a certain amount?
I don't know if all Paypal accounts have this feature (I think it may have only showed up in mine once sales reached ~$1k/day), but my account has an option called "settlement withdrawal". It automatically transfers funds at the end of each day.

Just subscribe to the free Selling Manager, and that is one of the features where you can print shipping Labels, all the info is uploaded from your transactions , so it's very easy
Just go to your seller dashboard and on the left you will see a subscription link, click that and than on the next page find Selling Manager and subscribe, it's free

How do youi set up this Daily Settlement Withdrawl?
I've never actually used the feature, I just saw it pop up one day. I'm pretty sure you tell paypal the percentage of funds you would like transferred every day, and they do it automatically.
I access that page by clicking "withdraw funds" on my summary page.

You mustve done something something in PayPal that made it stand out

Other than making daily $999 withdrawals from the account I've done nothing special. I'm pretty sure that option showed up about the same time P/P started offering me their working capital loan on that account. But I unno. Figured it was a standard option for everyone..

Is ther a reason you were only withdrawing $999 as opposed to more? Does more than that raise a red flag?
It makes sense that you withdrew $999 daily so they added that option in there for you. THis option used to be available to everyone you just had to activate it in "god mode" lol jk. But ever since they UI of PayPal changed it's not accessible anymore.
Not sure if it applies to you but on all of my user accounts on my mac I have it set up that the moment my computer recognizes my iPhone 6 being plugged in, the Photos app opens up. I then quickly upload the photos I need within seconds and drag them to the image cleaner application I have.
Way easier than emailing myself photos then downloading them (which I used to do).
this is a smart idea, i wish i had an iphone i was using at the moment can this be accomplished using an android?
also, google docs/ (which is really called google sheets; the spreadsheet pgm) is the best. i wouldn't know what to do without it.

Sorry, I haven't check this thread in a while. To be honest there is no particular reason I withdraw that amount.. but it can't hurt. I was watching an episode of American Greed a while back where some guy who was laundering money would transfer $9999 daily to an offshore account to avoid scrutiny. I know transactions over $10k raise red flags with the Feds.. My reasoning is maybe daily withdraws of over $1k would make Paypal suspicious.
But once again, I unno. I make this up as I go along.
