cannot link paypal account to ebay

i have tried dozens of times to link my paypal account to ebay. this hashappened on 4 accounts so far. the first three i was able to link. but now this fourth account will not link.

everytime i click link my paypal account it takes me to the create your account pagge and all info is empty.

its really pissing me off.

Try to go to "My account" tab and then "Selling Preferences", add paypal as a method there.

selling preferences? there is no option for that. and no other options to link my accounts.

It was a temporary glitch. Should be good now.

Yeah it's seems to be happening more often now. If you come back and try again another day it usually works then.

When that happens to me, here is one thing that I've found helps (not 100% of the time, but it did allow me to link Paypals immediately after having this problem on many different occasions):

- Click the "sign up" button under the "New to Paypal?" section (instead of the "Link my Paypal account button").

- It'll take you to a page where it wants you to create a Paypal account. Now while you're on that page, if you're logged in to Paypal already, click the log out button (and vise versa, if you're logged out, then log in from that page).

- Now go back to eBay and click the Link My Paypal Account button and in some cases it will finally allow you to actually link it. If it doesn't, you can repeat the first two steps and it may work, but if it doesn't then you just have to try again another day.
