It's only like Nike or Puma using dedicated forums for market research, research & development and more.... Ebay could afford to pay 12 people a full time wage to combat stealthies.

Thing is if they were not so dumb ass as to evict perfectly good people for no reason they would not have half the problem.

But a gut feeling thinks that amongst us there is a spy, we need to find him/her and take care of them! Hell I could be one.

Ok, so what to do about your gut feeling? To be honest, no one on this forum is that worried. I seriously doubt there is a team at Ebay monitoring this forum or similar forums.

I have no doubt eBay is aware of stealthers but I'm not worried. Collectively we make up a large portion of their revenue, which is why I believe "making a stealth account" is even possible still. eBay or Paypal could shut us all down over night if they wanted to with a "mandatory update" of some sort. But they haven't, because they like us. Most stealthers have learned from the mistakes that got them into trouble the first time around and operate their stealth accounts more professionally. That was the case with me, at least. This is why they treat stealth accounts just like any other account. As long as everything is being done above-board stealth accounts are allowed to flourish.

I'm sure eBay, Paypal, and Amazon all have reps check out this forum from time to time. I don't think their visits are entirely malicious though.. they just check for any gaping loopholes on their sites needing to be patched.

Lets just be honest, if there are Ebay/PP/Amazon/Etsy spies on this forum....NO ONE REALLY CARES! and those that do care, need to put on their tin-foil hats and sit in a corner.
