Do sellers tend to win these cases?

Not always.

What did you do as a seller in terms of delivery of this item.

Just a hint for next time. This is a payapl issue so use that forum next time...

Yes, unfortunately. But from what I've noticed (depending on the circumstances) Paypal will cover the loss a lot of the time, so money isn't deducted from your account. Now if Paypal thinks you've scammed someone, that's another story and you'll probably taking the $180 loss in that case.

But since this is an "unauthorized payment" I think you have a good chance of Paypal covering the chargeback for you. It will take several weeks for the chargeback to be fully resolved though..

Thanks Phaz0rz, and this would NOT count as case closed without seller resolution on ebay right
Also, is there anyway to avoid this in the future?
I would assume no since virtually anyone can do a chargeback

That's correct. Chargebacks in Paypal will not effect your eBay account whatsoever.

Low DSRs.....chargebacks.......cases being opened....

I'm going to side with this statement, you have an awful lot of problems on your accounts in such a short space of time, your luck seems real bad or your the one causing mischief. Im starting to think the latter.

It is the former believe it or not..the items I sell are prone to scamming

Give them up and move to another product. Doesn't make you look good on the forums with so many issues, but more so, your metrics should be a nightmare at this point with the way things have been going - beyond economical repair I would assume.

My shipping metrics you mean?
I am still top rated for all my metrics, not sure what you mean?

I don't recall ever losing one of those cases if:

I shipped to original address listed on sale and showed proper delivery via shipping company.

Yes, this is usual.

I asked twice for a reply on what the OP had done regarding delivery.

He might answer you.

Here is a hint.

Put a user on ignore if you dislike their comments.

Threads need not be taken off topic all the time.

You are having issues that should not be happening.
When you post it helps more if you add some details of what you have done to sort the issue.

I know selling is a pain. But when we get our act together, we can manage.
I would like for you to have the same outcome.
