Another bizarre glitch, or a sign of linking?
As many of you probably remember, I bought a new device to bring an old account back to life. ***i have yet to login to either account, buy anything, or sell anything from this device*** as I have spent my downtime stockpiling inventory.
Something really weird happened on the new device today. Not logged in, and never having logged in, I searched for an item to check it's current value. I searched sold, completed, and default sort by ending most recent first.
To my surprise, I saw one of my old items, from my old account, at the very top of the search listing.. As if it sold today. I quickly grabbed my old device to view my sale... And there wasn't one.
The item at the top of the page on my new device.... Was an unsold item from my old account that ended march 23! The item later sold... Months ago not today. So how could it show up on the top of the search results?
Is this just a bizarre glitch, and my random item happened to come up first? Or is this a sign eBay already knows who I am, and listed my item first? As far as I remember they have never done this... And when searching various other keywords I can not duplicate having my own items show up at the top of the page. Very weird that out of 365 items, to see one of my own from my other account at the top.
