Buyer asked for return but not responding..

A buyer had requested a return as their package arrived too late.

I said fair enough and asked for a return. Sent the return postage label but they haven't responded since then.

Ebay currently says:
We've asked the buyer to post the item back by 27 Jun. Wait until you get the item back before issuing a refund.

Does this mean the funds will be released and returned to me if the buyer hasn't sent it back by then? I started the return at around 11pm so would I receive the funds then?

if you don't see any tracking update tomorrow, you can call eBay and have the case closed in your favor. If the buyer leaves a Negative feedback it will be removed.

After 30 days the case will timeout.

If you dont receive the item back in that time then you dont have to refund. (Unless you choose to)

Heh, I just had a lady send me a message... She bought an item on 14th of January and she said that "I only just now opened the parcel, I don't like it"
Asked me to issue full refund and accept return.
HEH, giggles.

Haha I hate it when buyers suddenly change their mind like that after opening a package. Sometimes they ask me to pay for the return postage! Hope they don't do the same to you

6 months! She sounds like a hoarder who tossed the package on the floor and forgot for 6 months. Glad she waited too long.
