My library is right next to the post office.... And I used to use their laser printers to print all my shipping labels. I was curious why there is to be no library use for stealth?
I always sat in the same area, and if possible I would be using an entirely different set of computers from those I used on my limited search placement (*not suspended*) account. So naturally they would have a different windows login but same ISP.
Is the only issue to be careful not to use the same computer I used before, and/or if I had the bad luck of selecting a computer someone ELSE that is limited or suspended has used? I live in a very respected area, but as we know you don't necessarily need to be shady to get suspended. However, given no problems in the past 2 years I feel it's a relatively safe gamble. If suspensed users were rampant here at the library I feel I would have had my old account linked to them already.
Thanks

Running into blacklisted IP's isn't the only danger you face when using public computers. Many times (especially on larger accounts) switching between IP's will trigger reviews of your Ebay/Paypal account, because they want to make sure your account hasn't been hacked.
It's not like it's a sure-fire way to lose your account though. It's just not recommended around here because there are problems you may face, which could have easily been avoided by using a Static IP of your own.

Thank you for the quick reply. This is for another actual info account. In the case of multiple IP causing an issue, would that just trigger having to confirm some personal info and/or a phone call to eBay?

Yup, pretty much.
You have nothing to worry about on an "actual info" account, assuming you still have the phone.

Just keep doing your daily sales, then the IP won't trigger any suspicion from eBay.

I think he meant just keep doing what I do, nothing too out of the ordinary when combined with the IP switching. Nothing out of the ordinary value wise, no huge change in number of auctions or amounts of sales.

Logged in from a library computer today, pretty nervous about it.. We'll see how it goes. Different computer, and haven't been on in months, so should be no mixing of cookies

The problem is the IP address that it uses, not cookies.

If you don't have internet other than library internet, at least get a good VPN source and being in the library using the library's internet won't even matter.

True... I just need to get a good wireless printer for home and skip the library all together. I have internet and computers at home, it's just tied to my old limited account. I do all of my business on eBay mobile... On a new clean iphone... Except the printing portion. Today was the first time I printed on my new account instead of just using self scan kiosk at PO. Going to do the self scan route from now on until I can find a printer I think. Not worth the risk

The only time I've run into a problem, was a new computer. Large accounts. Small account. Never matter, what's, so, ever.
