Default browsers

Hi,

I want to change a browser on one of my accounts as it's not working properly. It's been on there for over a year. Is possible to use the same fresh copy of a certain browser on all my user accounts, or will this link somewhere down the line. Thanks.

What is the browser in question and what are you looking to move to?

Browser wont share information between user accounts no matter what the browser is.

I use Firefox Portable and create all my stealth accounts from its installer. I install the FF portable once then I just copy and paste the folder and utilize them for my new stealth accs. When I need to update the browser, I just copy the folder and overwrite the files. I've doing it for a long time and never had any trouble with it.

using the same browser on all your accounts, would not get them linked as long as cookies are taken care of (separated User account or VMs).

Have your phone ready to verify account when changing browsers often times when you try to go in and revise / relist an item on a new browser will trigger the we want to call/text you a code to verify your account . I would NOT erase your old browser with you old cookies until you 100% the new browser will work without issue .. I would say build as many cookies as you can looking at items asking sellers questions adding items to your watch list all helps build cookies ..

Thanks for the advise bluegrass1. The old browsers are still on all my user accounts and nothing has been deleted. Have Been using all the new browsers in the usual way, all is currently ok. I have several accounts that have been running for over a year now and nothing has been deleted on any of the user accounts, I think this may be starting to slow things down a bit, as i get the buffering thing a lot before it gets to the destination, but dont' want to delete cookies/cache etc.
