Default eBay Defact rate 0.33%

Hey guys ebay got me for 3 cases close without seller resolution because return tracking was uploaded to ebay and once it showed delivery back to me refunds were given automatically and I wasn't even given a chance to refund them it just happened automatically. Because i'm super close to being under 0.30% and I have til sept 20th before my evaluation am I still screwed? I've dropped my profit to 0% so I can rack up more sales and get that number below 0.3% Will ebay actually give me til Sept 20th before suspending me? I have an anchor store so will I lose everything?

Thanks!

Are you sure that's what caused your defects? Processing returns does not generally have any negative impact on your account.

Regardless, being below standard doesn't necessary guarantee you will be suspended. I've read numerous stories here about people being allowed to continue selling and eventually bringing their account back to above standard. Since you've got an anchor store I'm going to assume you gets tons of sales and your account has a relatively clean track record. If that's the case, you should be fine. Nobody can say for certain though how they will handle this. Ebay evaluates each account on a case by case basis because no two selling accounts are exactly alike.

That's correct if I'm allowed to keep my account as is til the next evaluation I will be fine because i'll be under 0.3% but I've read threads where people weren't even given til their next eval before ebay canned them. I think I will be under 0.3% within the next 5-6 days.

your sep 20th evaluation only counts things that happened before the 31st of august.

The only reason you would have those cases open, is because you had returns that you didn't accept, and they were escalated to ebay. Then, ebay waits for the tracking and the second the tracking arrives, they refund the buyer. Period

Yes exactly. I did accept the returns and I gave the buyers the return label through the claim they opened (attach photo, your own label). Once they mailed it back the second the delivery was marked DELIVERED they were refunded but I received a defect for that.

That's impossible. If you accepted the return and gave them the label, then they wouldn't have escalated it to ebay. At some point in this process, YOU didn't do something, and the buyer had to escalate it to ebay. Because a normal return doesn't refund them the second it gets delivered. The part you are leaving out, is HOW it got escalated to ebay. You aren't mentioning anything about that.
