Signing up for Auctiva tomorrow... If auctions are uploaded from their servers... Is it effectively (sort of) a VPN in itself... Assuming I never log into the actual eBay site on my previously limited wifi... Can I connect to Auctiva via wifi and have them upload to eBay passed thru their servers?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Auctiva logs on through their own servers so your personal IP doesn't matter.
I've never been linked through Auctiva. I use them for most of my stealth accounts.
Thank you for the confirmation! That's great news and well worth the cheap monthly fee! Cheaper than a VPN and has lot of additional auction features. It appears the only actual time you log on to eBay is to generate the token when you first register your account.
So long as you don't log into eBay to research value, or do so while not signed in to any account, it looks extremely safe!
Re: Third party listing service... Bypasses eBay??
If you setup all the relevant systems (like I do myself), the only time you'll ever login to ebay is to respond to any ebay disputes, which are rare as people tend to contact you via message most of the times.
I tend to login to ebay/paypal once a fortnight just to make sure everything is tip top. The rest is automated.
Re: Third party listing service... Bypasses eBay??
Yes Auctiva works great like this. I started out with auctiva. However, there are some other services that allow you to work with multiple ebay and Amazon accounts at same time.

Re: Third party listing service... Bypasses eBay??
So cool getting acquainted with all the additional features...!i will have to change my process a little but much easier doing it this way!
Still going to use eBay mobile on my dedicated line... To generate shipping labels and list on the go... But Auctiva for all else.
The only thing I see with Auctiva that could get expensive is the bandwidth.,, since I plan to keep copies of all my listings in my archive for easy access. If they're only using actual bandwidth from active items it won't be bad... But if it goes by overall total of all items listed on their server it could get expensive
