Default Feedback removal

Is it possible to get feedback removed from people who have made false claims?

I had someone leave negative feedback saying their item hadn't arrived, that they had messaged me many times in which I "ignored" them and I had scammed them.

Obviously they wrote that in broken English. Here is my issue:

They have never messaged me, not once. After leaving feedback he finally sent a message saying "Stop ignoring me!!!!"

He has never even contacted me, i'm not sure who the hell he's been messaging, but obviously some other poor sod.

Is their anything I can do about the negative feedback? No, sadly the item wasn't sent with tracking (it's cheap).

You will possibly have to call in to explain this to them and give the tracking details.. even though i wouldn't call in for anything myself..

Or write an email to trust and safety

That person probably sent their email to a different seller.

I actually received two emails from somebody who has never bidded on my items or bought from me. This was about a month ago complaining that the item was not working. I was selling the same items, but this person did not buy from me.

But my items was not cheap, so this was definitely a different person. The reason I am sharing this is the fact that I got an email from somebody I never sold an item to.

That happened to me too in the eBay messaging system. He wouldn't believe me that he never bought it from me, but I wasn't worried as he can't leave me any bad feedback etc, and if he contacted eBay they'd explain to him that he's a bit.. stupid.

Sadly Bunneh I have no tracking as it was a cheap item. I think it's not worth contacting eBay by phone for a feedback and adding risk. I might contact them via Live Chat some time if he doesn't respond (I messaged him and emailed him outside of eBay, but still no reply).

I looked him up on Facebook to see if he was online, wish I didn't it only made me more annoyed. Looks like something out of the hills have eyes.

Frustrating, but take a breath and move on......IMO after 16 years on ebay, you won't get that feedback removed, but if it'll make you feel better to try, go for it...just don't let that one bad deal it consume you....if you sell much, I promise it won't be your last bad deal.....just forget it and make more money.....

True I currently have around 3000 sales on eBay, and luckily it's the first time I have had negative for someone claiming I didn't reply.

I guess I will just let it go and hope he actually replies to me sometime. The only time I get negatives is when people don't even contact me about an issues, they just leave a negative, and then around 50% don't even reply to me after I contact them and offer them a refund. The other 50% revise the feedback and apologise.

It is possible to remove the feedback...if he opens a claim, you are going to have a harder time due to no tracking...how much is the $ involved?

$15. I would refund him and more to get the feedback removed, but the idiot doesn't even reply to me.

I have two negatives now, both times it's because of someone with an IQ lower than their shoe size trying to use eBay. They never contact you, then they leave negative and never reply to any messages. They don't even open cases or ask for a refund.

They're not competitors either.

I will just do what pokerpro suggested and forget about it and not let it bother me. If he replies, he replies.. if he doesn't well.. I'm not out of any money, even though I would happily pay 5x the item for a negative to go.

email ebay. Explain what you have explained here.

You can only try and by trying you will feel better.

I mean throughout the life time of the account. Both were for things out of my control.

I will email them tomorrow and see what happens.

Good luck, I have recently gotten a feedback that I tried to get removed, the buyer messaged me asking for measurements about an hour before the end of the auction, she bought it anyway before I could reply and then emailed me again asking for the measurements, so I sent them, she then replies back that it wont fit and can I please issue a refund since I didn't answer her question in time. So I issued a refund and sent a cancel transaction request, the (Insert not so nice word here) denies the request then leaves a negative saying I cancelled the sale after she paid. I've emailed ebay but no dice getting it removed. Best of luck.

Give eBay a call.

I had a feedback removed last week in a similar situation.

Buyer claimed item was damaged and no response from seller.

eBay checked the message logs, saw there had been no contact and removed the neg. Buyers click a disclaimer that they had contacted the seller, and if they don't, in my experience eBay are only too happy to remove.

Edit: Spoke to them today on live chat, told them what happened. They checked the messages and then removed the feedback

Edit: Okay, wouldn't recommend that I got mc999 indefinite selling restriction later on in the day.. hmm all other accounts fine.

Wow just wow. Thats why I would never call ebay for any reason. Always stay under the radar and never let a real ebay employee look over your account. Time to make more stealths my friend :-)

I didn't call them, was live chat. I will just let it slide in future. I was doing way to many sales on that account, and I got my moneys worth even if it lasted 5 months only.

Pretty much. I'm guessing the reason is I sold a lot and the account was only 5-6 months old. It was a gamble that kind of paid off because I got two good months of over 1000 sales. For some reason eBays system gave me a huge monthly selling limit, so perhaps someone looking at the account was worried because of that.

It's annoying to lose such a good account, but i'm also not feeling hard done by because the amount made from it was very good.

Live chat = calling = same thing = same kind of people = eBay.

Well, I never agree with turn and burn accounts, just makes us all look bad.
I'm sure it's not your intention, but perhaps you will consider slowing down a little bit and just spread it over more accounts.

Lower risk, 1 goes down, you have more, etc... the advantages are just great.
