Default Thinking about closing account and not pay fees (regular)

I am not a powerseller, I use ebay only to get rid of old stuff to fund for new ones. For the few years I used ebay I only have 27 feedbacks.

Due to some people and ebay trying to mess with my account, I get a negative feedback and now my paypal has this message on top that holds all my funds for 3 weeks:

Quote:
Important message about your account. From now on, money you receive will be temporarily held in a pending balance. To learn more, please read our funds availability policy
Right now I have $80 debt on the ebay account. Due to sub 90% feedback rating on my current account, I need to make a new account and don't want to pay the fee on the old one. Right now, they only have my canceled debit card, bank account, and address on the paypal, and the bank account is 1 visit away from closing.

How should I proceed, and is it safe to do so since they still have my real address?

$80 in fees means you are selling a reasonable average amount on the ebay account, never close an account for these sorts of reasons, a neg/holds etc, a new account will get same issues anyway. Start a new account by all means, and you can rest this older account if you want, but I suggest you pay fees and keep account, old account with 27 feedback is worth keeping..........imo.

In answer to your question, yes if real address then you may be chased somewhat for the fees, although they are not much and not worth them going to debt collection for...

Problem is oompa is old account is sub 90% - and with only 27 feedback, that's a LOT of work to bring it back up to scale.

If it has your real info, yes pay it and work with it slowly for fun...as you seem to be doing.

Start fresh accounts(s) and get what you need to be done, done.

Thanks, I think I will pay up and start selling using new paypal and ebay accounts. I get $80 ebay fee only because I parted out my high end computer recently. Usually I do very little sale over at ebay. I don't know how this 87.5% positive rate would look for future sales even against 0 rating.

87.5% is very low - and with only 27 feedback, cut your losses. Such a hassle to rework - unless you have guaranteed client followers.

well I think pay up and let it rest, a little slow good feedback for non-controversial goods will get it up to health again, to use for future....(oompas chicken soup method)

just pay your fees and keep your account active and in good standing if possible. I usually just sacrifice 100% profit from 1 sold item and use it to pay my fees. Although they do build up quickly when your selling things at BIN for $250-$350 a pop. I usually have almost $100 in fees after just selling 4 items.
