You can no longer sell items on eBay - What to do Next
Hello,
Need some help here. I have 2 eBay accounts. One is TRS, and one is a regular account that has been Below Standard for several months, solely due to a few order cancellations on my end. eBay closed both of my accounts this morning. I am a small seller on eBay, and I was killed by the defect rate percentage on one account.
"You can no longer sell items on eBay
Your seller performance is not meeting the minimum requirements to sell on eBay and your seller level is now Below Standard in the US seller performance standards program.
You won't be able to list and sell items on eBay anymore."
My order cancellation rate on the Below Standard account was at 3.88%, 1.88% above the requirement of 2%. This was the difference between 2 orders. I take full responsibility for this. I would just like to know if I have any options to get back on somehow.
I had 165 listings (about $5K of merchandise - mostly garage sale type stuff that I ship myself) now "unsold" and unable to list anything on either account.
What are my options here, if any?
1) Open stealth account
2) Hire a lawyer (willing to do that)
3) Wait 6 months-1 year
4) Appeal letter
