Default False Vero takedowns? Possible?

Hi, i was wondering if it' possible to get a false Vero report on the items you are selling resulting with restriction. I was just hit with 7 days restriction on items I had already removed from my listings. I sell garage signs with company brands so i understand they violate the trademark policy but since these are signs most companies don't or didnt care. Ebay says the vero company can go back and check finalized listings and initiate a removal even though listing was already removed. As soon as i got reinstated and was able to list again, another vero complaint with 30 day restriction. this was for a tire sign, I had 2 signs there, but only one was removed? the other listing was still there. and quick search on ebay shows at least 20 other sellers selling similar products some with hundreds of the same item sold and still not removed from ebay.
This is an old personal account i had for over 10 years, 100% feedback and top seller rating with $150000 selling limit per month.
This company was not on the vero list they have on ebay and i tried to trace down their email address and I'm no expert, but it shows this website is estimated worth of $ 8.95 and have a daily income of around $ 0.15.

I have tried contacting them but have gotten no response.

You think it is a competitor reporting you with false vero. You traced the email that you were given? and you think it is not correct? so do you know the correct details of the rights owner, as a comparison?
I am fairly sure that vero can be falsified, if it is a obscure brand.
Your problems is that if it is a brand, false or not, someone has grounds to mess with you. If you start questioning it with ebay and forwarding evidence that it is false, you may succeed or otherwise they may ban you for being too much trouble than you are worth.....

You need to remember that with eBay anything can happen.

ANd yes, it's common practice they'll still track your listings down even after you take them down.

eBay should have the correct info of that company, however I'd like to steer you to a mindset:

1. Can you sell something else after you let the account cool down for a month or 2?

2. If you have to sell the same item, try it on an alternate obscure account that you don't care about losing and see what happens.

The reason I say so is because I don't always see the benefit of people fighting over eBay on this type of issue because it takes a lot of time and energy that you perhaps can use to find a different item or sell the same item using a different method.

thanks for the responses. All I sell is signs, should I just remove all my listings just leave some brands that are with non existing? Will ebay find it suspicious i remove 300 items at once? my income is gonna go to crap but at this rate I will probably get banned from selling permanently. I spoke with ebay account specialist he told me next time this happens most likely we'll be parting ways.

can you create a back up account, right now? eBay Stealth

I'm just thinking of a way to get you back up as quick as possible.

Another alternative is to buy a good account from one of our sellers. If you PM me, I can tell you a trusted seller I've been using.

What bothered me is your situation with the vero people and the signs which aren't supposed to be high risk.

Well, if all those 300 items are similar to the ones being taken down, I'd personally take them off myself to show them I'm compliant, but at this point, it's out of your control and you can only do the best you can.

so to recap:

1. Create a new account asap.
2. Buy a higher limit account from a seller I'll recommend you.

Use the 2nd account to test the waters, then use the bought account once you have a strategy on what to list.

What kind of take down are you appealing against, I had a claim for counterfeit item from a gmail address, eBay said no counter could be filed for that. But I do have invoices, and proof the item that was being sold was authentic. Previous sales still show up, only one listing and future listings get vero'd by the same person claiming they are the company but it seems fishy due to low category #'s and one person with low feedback pumping out the same item @ auction.
