I have a friend that setup a server running windows at his house. I was wondering if I was to connect to his server using remote desktop and create a new ebay account (different name,address, etc.) from the remote desktop will ebay be able to track me down?

Yeah my main account was suspended so I was going to use my friends server through remote desktop and list the auctions through there since it will be using his ip.

Well you can do that... but if you get suspended again, the server IP will have to be reset. It's just like a computer in front of you. I had friends from China access my laptop which I setup for them to work on eBay when I was doing other things. This way, eBay just thinks I'm working off my laptop and it didn't risk my account because China interfaced with my computer. The only down side it's a little laggy for the users in China. I'm sure the close you are the faster it'll be.

I could probably use my server in Dallas Texas, which this site is run off, just thinking about it. But then again, I could simply reset my personal IP and go from there.

Yeah I will let you guys know how it goes. My friend lives about 30 minutes away from me so the there shouldn't be any lag.
