I've done the same, but supposedly their "model" hits anything under a dollar. It's possible that we slipped through the cracks. I'm sure the less fraud attractant items are given a little leeway. But I wouldn't push it.

ebaykilla--what do you use to find those ultra cheap items? Unfortunately ebay doesn't have an "all in one from cheapest to priciest" search option. Do you just go looking in categories randomly or do you have another way of doing it?

It's hard to find items I can actually use. I don't prescribe to the "just because it's cheap" ideal. I did once. Ended up with a ton of basically junk. Throwing money away. Now I'll spend a little more and find something I can actually USE. Occasionally, though, that something will be cheap. And in the above case, it didn't matter. I have my suspicions it was due to a rival competitor.

I go to the catergory (Baseball cards, Stamps, Books, Art, Books or Music) click items ending in less than 3 days, click items with free shipping, and click items with paypal. Then I list items from lowest price to highest price in the catergory...It works well for me. I usually just buy about 20 items at a time and get 20 positives for under $20.

I just got a unpaid item strike on a penny auction. So apparently this guy wanted to "punish" me rather than doing a mutual withdraw. I guess I'm going to have to report him to ebay for posting a penny auction. Dumb just dumb.

He didn't want to punish you, he wanted to save his account just like you should. If you can't afford to pay a penny, what are you doing on eBay? Do you really care if he's charged 50 cents?

Let me tell you the truth why he wants to be paid. To make it a legit transaction. Penny farms get shut down because people like you don't pay, making it a clear feedback exchange.

Pay the freaking penny and be done with it. Or go ahead and report him for posting a penny auction and then get suspended yourself for buying from penny auctions.

And lets think here for a second. You're going to report him for doing penny auctions and you haven't paid him? What basis are you reporting him on? That you need to pay him a penny and you didn't want to because you just wanted the feedback? :D

Dumb and dumber.

Default I violated "feedback manipulation" policy. Don't want to get suspended

I need feedback and am willing to buy inexpensive (under $1) ebooks and such to any seller who promises to give positive feedback in a timely fashion. pm me if you can accommodate. i will also provide buyer feedback as well.

I'm not sure if this type of thread is against the rules. If it is, please let me know and I will immediately delete it.

I predict you'll come back in a few days crying that your account has been suspended for buying feedback or running penny auctions.

EBay knows the difference between just buying eBooks and buying feedback. Trust me on this.

Buying feedback is a good way to get your account suspended fast.

Default "buying feedback"

does anyone have a good way to buy cheap items to get some feedback, but using a paypal account that is not linked to your new ebay account? i'm not sure if a seller would be okay with me asking if i could just send the money as goods or service to him through paypal.

Ask the seller to send you a Paypal invoice. That way you can pay by credit card without logging into your account

No one buys the 1 cent auctions here?

Most of the time the buyer / seller just leaves u feedback without the money being passed. The FVF on 1 cent is probably nothing anyway.

Am I missing something here?

ebay is on to that, and if you do multiple auctions then you will be suspended.

HI:
You can still use a gift card to pay for auctions, go through like youre gonna use pp, then on the left, chose the cc option, fil it in with the gift card, and off it goes,,no pp needed..did it last week,
