All BIN listings. They were all listed "for iPhone 5" etc. (which is the correct way to post them according to eBay)
None of them included the word "lightning" in either the title, description or MPN so no trademark violation.
They removed about 80 listings (all unique with different combinations of products) and the weird part is that all the listings were over 6 months old. Some probably closer to a year.
Does it give you the contact info for the Ver0 agent? If it does, then it was a Ver0 takedown. If it does not, then it is more than likely a competitor.
I understand copyright violations and trademark violations, but what exactly is a "design rights" violation? Did they specify what you did that was wrong?
I received this violation a couple times in the past month as well.
Was for cell phone accessories, might be the wording in the description. Still trying to figure it out..
All the listings that were removed were auctions that had already ended with completed payment.
Confused.
Yeah tell me about it. I've been in the game for a while and I do not make any sloppy mistakes. Was using my own pictures. Made sure that the title, description and MPN did not infringe on any trademarks at all and they hit me with a "design rights violation". Still haven't been able to figure what it means.
I honestly think it was just a lame excuse since they were selling REALLY well...
Seems like something you were selling was designed by someone else and they had the ability to take it down(intellectual property). Just a guess though.
Would be a nice trolling by Chinese guys to manufacture something, get it's design copyrighted, then sell zillions of it to another guys in Europe, then ban them from ebay. No concurrence, and huge profits.
