Account Suspended Indefinitely

Just received this:
After reviewing your eBay account, recent activity has raised serious security concerns. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Your eBay account has been suspended indefinitely.
- Item listings have been removed. A list of removed items is available further down in this email.

You won't be able to use eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account. Any outstanding selling fees are due immediately, and any amounts that you haven't previously disputed will be charged to the billing method currently on file.

We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm -- however unintentionally -- to the eBay community.

They went on to say they were taking down 50 of my listings. 40 of These were items sold months ago and shipped. Also said they were cancelling my bids (20) I only have one. The other 19 are for items I bid on and won and received. I sell repurposed (kitbashed) circus vans and wagons for $5-10and had 71 positive and no negative feedback. Dedicated internet, dedicated computer, no cookies or cross contamination. Do not understand why. My other two accounts are still up (as of today)

I have changed phones since I originally called them. What should I do.

Call them and ask why?

Go to the source and ask....your already suspended, mid as well find out why.

My best guess is what your selling is what triggered their computer to review your account.

I called and asked and they told me I was selling high priced merchandise. I told them I list between $2.99 and $14.99 with 90% listed at $4.99. The person looked at my listing and said I was right and she would file a query about this. 3-4 days?

If your merchandise if genuine and legit - you should call them until they say what exactly had happened. Because this one is definitely an automated suspension. I think that you will be able to appeal.

I called BACK in and was told it was an internal decision concerning safety and not reviewable. Funny I posted $4.99 to $5.99 items and sold 30 in 5 months. No negative feedback etc. Paypal still good? Dedicated IP and no cross contamination on cookies. Dedicated computer. IP not used for anything but EBAY? Weird?

Ebay has been CRAZY the past couple months.
I think they just don't want sellers right now in many markets. To many sellers hurt ebay and buying experience.
