Smile Portable Browser Setup

Hi all,

I am currently using Firefox Portable to manage multiple accounts and wondering how everyone else sets up the browser, what plugin/addons you all use etc.

At the moment I install the Firefox Portable on a new user, ensure Flash is disabled (I have actually removed it from my laptop) add CanvasBlocker addon (then change the settings to block everything) and disable both the plugins (OpenH264.. and Widevine content).

Is this similar to yours or do you do something different?

Flash doesn't need to be disabled. Just flash cookies

I don't use any adblockers or any other add ons. Just a normal FFP browser with a Static IP and flash cookies disabled. Never had any issues.

If your using a portable browser then you don't need a new user account. Its one or the other. Using both is a bit pointless really

Thank you for your quick reply JamesNorth101 I have tested and eBay is using Canvas Fingerprinting to trace people, this is also detailed in another thread.

What about WebRTC for your VPN and do you use a kill switch?

Interesting. I have not read anything RE eBay using Canvas Fingerprinting or seen anything to suggest that they do. Which thread is it that says that they do?

See this post http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-tr...-tracking.html

I have also done tests to check.

How do you use your IP address - what do you do about WebRTC and do you use a kill switch?

I have used them in the pasts yes. On large accounts with the VPN I still use it, with smaller accounts I use a dongle

How do you turn off flash cookies on windows 10? I have 2 separate user accounts and use a different VPN ip address for each one.

just don't make a mistake and use a very general name for that user like "admin" or something like that.. but if your user name is "james101..", than you have problem..
