A simple auctiva question for someone in the know

Hi Guys,

Just want to clarify this....

If i set up an ebay account in 1 location, can I use auctiva to list items from another location far far away?

Does this bypass the ebay 'we will call you if an item is listed from a computer that wasn't used to register your account'.

Im not technical but Ive listed on ebay UK, whilst on holiday in Portugal on my laptop on auctiva, yes. Once you have auctiva, you can list on uk, canada, germany, usa ebay from anywhere. Does auctiva accept a local IP, I dont know, as I say I was on a UK laptop, I dont know if it had my static t-mobile IP, which is possibly recognised as a UK IP by auctiva or if it picked up a local one.

It doesnt however stop ebay calling you about your account, so you need a working telephone but in terms of general listing, you wont have the problem of them seeing your foreign IP or not recognising your computer.

If you completely set up the Auctiva Account correctly and link it to your eBay account with a good clean IP Address
Then you can log into your Auctiva account from anywhere and list your items without a eBay phone call.

hi, are you saying the during the initial linking of auctiva and ebay, ebay will have your real ip address?

you have to log in to ebay to get token , you are redirected by auctiva, whatever ip you are on will be seen by ebay
