Query about portable browser, 24vc IP setup

Hi,

I have a concern. I downloaded firefox portable browser, and when I was trying to set up the 24vc software, I intended to download the software into each of my portable browser so that each browser folder is controled by non identical IPs but I realised that as well as downloading into the folder containing my portable browser , the software icon is also downloaded on my desktop.

Now that the software I downloaded is in my desktop would their not be a leakage issue when it comes to switching ips since they are all connected through one software on the desktop

I know that where I have purchased more than 1 Dedicated IP then I can use the option to select which user ip to run from the software. but the logic behind my concern is that while I had initially intended to run the software from the folders alone but the ICON is also on my main desktop, then what stop ebay from also linking the portable firefox and intelligently gathered that the IPs are connected.

You might want to PM 123 and ask him about this.

But, are you using these on ONE Windows account? I am not an expert on portable browsers, but I wouldn't think it is a good idea to use one Windows account.

I'm not very experienced with portable browsers as I don't use them but be very careful cause I have seen many people get their account's linked by trying to use portable browsers. But as for your VPN question, it wouldn't matter whether you have the VPN software in the folder or on the desktop, as long as your ip changes then that's the only thing ebay would be seeing they wouldn't see anything different if the software was in the folder as oppose to desktop.

Overall though I would much more recommend vmware as a safer option than portable browsers.

you CAN set the VPN within the browser itself. i do know firefox provisions this.

be sure to install the plugin "betterprivacy" and get over cautious with the flash cookie management settings, deleting upon starting AND closing.

set your homepage to IPBurger and verify consistency before continuing onto ebay/paypal.

I don't see any reason it shouldn't run smoothly
