Default Help me out of 56k Hell!!!

Hello everyone,

First I would like to say that I have several accounts now, that have just passed the 30 day point Everything is going great. My problem is I have an older linksys router that will not hold new mac addresses. So right now, I have been using my 56k modem, and following the correct procedures in the Stealth handbook. My problem is when I actually do log in to ebay and check my mail, invoice customers, etc it can take a very loooong time. Now multimple that by 5 accounts, see my problem...

So I wanted to update my router, and use broadband for the accounts.

Here are my specs, Please advise. I need the correct format.

I live on the east coast, and have cablevision as my Broadband provider.
My router right now is a linksys wireless b.

This is the new router I wanted to purchase:

Newegg.com - LINKSYS WRT54GL IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless-G Broadband Router - Wireless Routers

I need to know if this would be a good upgrade, and if I can do the mac accounts on here. Suggestions are appreciated.

All your help would be appreciated.

I prefer netgear of linksys but yes, that is a good router as well.

I live on the east coast as well. Comcast here. What I've done is installed another internet line. I have 2 now. The comp I use for ebay is not on a network. The other line is on a network and router. For 50 dollars more a month it is so worth it, to me. I can change my IP whenever I need too without having to worry about knocking someone off line or interrupting an xbox game, etc.
