IF you get a reply from anyone, do let the forum know,nobody.
You asked this before or had you forgotten?

It is near impossible to do this. The speed of the signal is never good enough to maintain a connection. When TGMT advertised a Magic Jack subscription ages ago, I got in touch with them. There was every chance this might work well for stealth. It does provided the access is correct.
Now you are probably disinclined to go with my thoughts but here's info right from Magic Jack answering the question
What type of internet access do you need
magicJack requires one of the following Internet connections:

* Broadband
* High-Speed Internet
* Cable Internet
* DSL
* WiFi
* Wireless
* WiMax

A minimum bandwidth UPLOAD speed of 128 kb/s is required.

You may test your bandwidth speed at Speakeasy Speed Test

NOTE: magicJack does not work over dial-up or satellite Internet.

Here's another idea. Why don't you spend the $20 and contribute to the forum with your finding?

Tried it. Used different modems. Changed my internet to get the best upload speed available. Tried different modem settings. Just couldn't get a stable signal. Would cut out after 10 seconds or so each time.

If somebody did better I would like to know.

Same here, but it's steady only on VPN.
I had my old US Paypal confirmed with it six months ago, (before I got limited for a different reason).
