Two questions about MAC address

I read the book, but here's something I'd want to understand more clearly:

1) Supposing everything else is set correctly, as long as you have different IPs for different eBay\PayPal accounts, does it matter whether they are accessed through the same MAC address? (In other words, do they track your MAC address?)

2) I've used my first account for a while, without keeping track of my IP addresses. Will changing my router's MAC address cause my ISP to assign other IP addresses to me (I mean, totally new addresses, as in different subnets, etc.)?

yes,changing your mac address will get you assigned a diff ip address

you should keep a log of your ip`s,change ip whenever you swap windows user accounts

How about the first question - is the MAC address relevant, as long as you have different IPs? Does eBay keep track or identify your MAC somehow?

What I meant in the second question is - since there's a 5%-15% chance of getting assigned an IP number I've already used in the past with my account, will changing the MAC address prevent that?

no i dont think changing the mac address will mean that you will never be assigned the same ip again

there is always a chance of getting the same ip address,thats why we should log them and check everytime we change our ip address

as far as i am aware,eb do not track your mac address,just your ip address
