wether they're doing it or not, it doesn't matter, they can use it as soon as they need to be sure.
you can't avoid being unique. your browser fingerprint is in 99,9% cases unique.
but what you can avoid is you can be differently unique with different accounts.
for example:
account 1 is running under winxp with firefox 5.0. there's no specific addons installed and everithing is just as it goes out of the box, no extra software, nothing at all, bare both the winds and the browser.
account 2 is on the same PC but is running under win7 with intexplorer 9.0, there's no wigits gudgets etc additional stuff nothing.
under this circumstances there's no additional similarity between your two accounts.
and try two think of this:
both your accounts are running under the same version of winxp installed from the same image/disk and both accounts are running under the same copy of IE browser. in this case this makes no difference wether you log in with the same ip or with different IPs or wether you clean cokies or not. your accounts can be suspected considering the fingerprints are absolutely the same.
this doesn't neseserely make you suspended but may help them to be sure you're having some accounts in casethey need additional prove that you are.
a good thing to run some different OS on the same PC with absolutely different configurations is virtualbox. it works with anything and everywere. and it's easy and comfortable to use.
