I think if this was true then we would be hearing a lot more people complaining about it.... Just sayin

I personally use sandboxie rather than separate windows users to silo off each account's browser history. Any account gets suspended and all traces of the browser's history used for that account gets nuked.

After reading this I would say it sounds best to use safari 4.0 or sandibox in firefox browser.

use both ccleaner and bleachbit after use but before logging off.

And still have seperate windows user accounts to stay ultimately under the radar that little bit more.

Gmail automatically disables flash cookies, right?
You only see them if you want to.

Gmail disables web beacon that are attached to images, not sure about flash, and cookies.

I can't believe this would render the "switching user accounts" moot.
Switching user accounts is what most on here do, to prevent cross-contamination, right?
So is switching user accounts obsolete now?
I would think over 90% of the stealth accounts of ninjas here would be suspended.

Is sandboxie decidedly preferable to switching user accounts?
And another user mentioned using different "profiles" within Firefox browser...no switching user accounts at all.

There's an add-on for Firefox called BetterPrivacy...it deletes any or all LSO's.
Does always logging into an Ebay account with zero LSO's raise red flags? Or is having zero LSO's a feature of a good portion of regular Ebayers, so Ebay doesn't care. If Ebay doesn't notice our having no LSO's, then I think I'd rather just have that add-on automatically delete them all on entry into and exit from the browser...within the same user account.

As far as I'm aware & referring back to the stealth guide. Logging on & off to different user accounts is highly suggested. Also keeping all cookies is suggested.

I'm not 100% sure what LSO's are so can not direct you on that.

I actually came across the forum because I have been researching a question similar to this regarding Craigslist.

I have no technical knowledge whatsoever, but I have put a number of bits and pieces together and I keep coming up with MAC address.

From what I understand, each individual machine you use has a unique MAC address - PC, laptop, smartphone. (I can look up my Android MAC address in Settings > About Phone). So even though I use them all from the same IP address, each can be individually identified through it's MAC address.

Apparently, it is possibler to "spoof" this address, but the technicality of it is well beyond my ability/understanding.

This information may relate to the issue you are having, but as I said, I am still researching, and simply giving you this information because I haven't seen it mentioned here.
