My account was recently suspended and i have a lot of stuff that i have left over that i need to sell

Can ebay link my new account to my old suspended account if I use the same pictures and a similar description/auction layout as I did before?

My advice? Take new pics or crop the background at the least.

If it's an automatic thing then you can change a pixel or two or use an image editor and mirror the image, rotate it, etc.

Target and AOL have been sued for blind users not being able to using their website http://tinyurl.com/hlynp -- will eBay be next for deaf users?

I don't know if any programs will automatically rename a list of files with the push of a button, but this would be a valuable tool...

If you like the hosting sites that's fine, just be sure to keep a backup in case something happens with the site or they suddenly become friendly with ebay. I would say hosting your own pics is the ideal solution. You might pay somewhere around $5-10 a month for a hosting package, plus around $5 a year for a domain. If the ebay id gets bumped, set that domain aside and get a new one. This costs around the same or less than a lot of paid picture hosting services out there and you may get additional use of the service.

Well it depends on the pictures. I run two accounts simultaneously right now - one is merchant account one is PayPal, and for certain auction images that are stand out, I make certain there is no overlap. But for generic images lifted off the internet, I don't even bother.

I used to be really strict about this and make certain that no hosted images within my auction listings or auction main + gallery images were identical to previous ones, but I don't even bother anymore
Ebay Tracking via pictures - reusing the same pictures / images in listings?
and haven't had an account suspended in over a year. So, while yes pictures CAN get you busted, it is low on the totem pole of items EBAY uses to link you, apparently. It comes down to how much time you want to spend on re-creating the new account, and whether it really matters.
