Hi,

Can I use simultaneously on the same computer a dial up connection on a vmware virtual machine and a broadband connection on my main OS, desktop?

If you can switch between the VMWARE and Main OS,Yes. Both running AT the same time I don't think it's going to work, but I am sure someone else can give a better answer.

I don't understand why you would want to - isn't that an unnecessary risk too far?

Yes the idea is to have them both running at the same time.

Because it would be easier than switching every time, but if it's risky I won't do it.
