Default android tablet - user accounts?

Hi there

I'm wondering if anyone has been able to set up different user accounts on an Android tablet (just like on a Windows pc) to enable the obvious? I have seen an app available called 'switch me' but would like to hear any views?

TIA

Not possible at present but it is rumoured that it may be included in the next release of android i.e. 4.2 but as this is still under development it may well never happen.

Actually in Android 4.1, there's an incomplete multi-user feature but it can be enabled and is quite usable

True, but root access is required for this so not a feature that is readily accessible by all.

If you have an android phone and don't root it, that's really no fun at all.

Weird my phone is rooted and the battery life almost halved after the root. I didnt find a stock ROM so I had to go with one similar. If I use the 4g (wimax, not LTE), the battery life goes down another half.

I wish I can find a stock ROM for a HTC Evo V 4g but no luck so far.

In my case I was able to remove processes that were running in the background which were actually driving up the heat on my phone. Once I removed them my phone thanked me

How is using an iPhone suppose to help the OP? It doesn't have any multi-user features right out the box.
