... wouldn't uninstalling Macromedia Flash Player from your computer avoid the worries of getting Flash Cookies, Persistent Identification Elements (PIE), and Local Shared Objects (LSO)?

Then you couldn't enjoy sites like YouTube...

Plus sooner or later eBay and Paypal will require it or else limit you every new item you want to sale. Just setup separate window user accounts and you'll be fine.

Is this something new?
If we have 4 ebay accounts and a separate User account in Windows we are ok just by logging in and out of the user accounts?

Hi aspkin... it's Amazon I'm worried about. I'm sure they use the same tactics as eBay/PayPal to keep bad sellers off their site. Problem is that there are too many good sellers, like me, *wink* who get banned from Amazon simply by logging in one day from a library computer that had been used by a previously banned account. Now all my addresses, name, etc. are blacklisted because of that linkage. Do you know anything else about Amazon's tactics in particular? Or are they using the exact same techniques as eBay?
