Located in MI but IP is in CA

changed a bunch of numbers and letters on my mac address, restarted my router and modem and boom.i now have a CA ip address.

is this good or bad?

Acceptable.

ebay/paypal always understand the ISP can change geo-locations.

Provided the IP is still within the USA, there should be little chance of issues.

Make sure you have your user account & cookies in place

It's cool. My home IP is says I'm in Cali, but I live on the other side of the country. I log in through my mobile hotspot, and it also says I'm in Cali., just a diff city.

The user doesn't do anything....It's all on the ISP end.
