Default IP changes

Hello all, be nice please!

I'm real new to this and despite crawling through the various posts on here, I cannot seem to find one which ticks all my boxes.

So, I currently have 1 successful ebay account with 800+ feedback.

I now want to create another 3-4 accounts using the same MacBook Pro with the same internet provider (Sky).

Can someone please advise if I need to download specific software, buy different hardware etc?

Ideally I'd like to keep it quite simple but I can use 4-5 different names over 4-5 random addresses but I also want to keep them all integrated to the same PayPal.

How am I to change my IP address every time I log on to ebay without getting caught??

Thanks.

You will need to keep every account you have seperate.

That includes a new paypal for each account.

Linking new accounts with different names and addresses to one paypal will cause issues.

With regards to your ip, i would look at dedicated vpns, or look in to dongles/tethering.

You do not have to download anything, just create a new user account (mac user) for every stealth account.

Changing IP is easy, if your provider (Sky) offer a dinamic IP, you just need to restart your router and write down every IP address so you don't accidentally logged in to ebay with the same IP across different user account. Now if you subscribed to a Static IP plan, you may consider getting your self a VPN to work with.

Im currently waiting to talk to sky to see if i can upgrade my package to VPN. Is there any hardware at all that I will need?

Also, as I'm a MAC User, why do I need to create different Mac Accounts for different stealth accounts?

Each user account has distinct cookies attached. They'll link your accounts if the cookies are the same as another account. Separate Mac users = separate cookies.

Correct. EB1 + PP1 = User1, EB2 + PP2 = User2, and so on.

Restarting your router everytime will become a hassle.

Sky sometimes have sticky ips. In my old house that was the case.

Dongle/tethering/VPN would be quicker and easier.

You would only need one dongle.

Everytime you plug it in it gives you a new ip.

Every now and again it will give you the same ip.

You need to record every ip using ip burger or what's my ip. You do this to ensure you don't use the same ip across different accounts.

If account a and account b used the same ip, it could link them.

So be strict when recording your ips, no shortcuts

Ok thanks for your help. Is there a specific Dongle I need to buy? - Will this work in conjunction with my SKY router?

Thanks for this but it's the single aspect I don't get.

Are you saying I need to disconnect my Mac from my sky router but connect it to a wifi dongle?

I just don't get the whole dongle part?

You have to open your admin panel.. type this in your browser http://192.168.1.0

Your admin panel will then open and you type in

USER: admin
PASS: sky

Then just follow the instructions on the page I gave you.

If you dont want to have to worry about changing your ips each time can also go the VPN/VPS route and then you'll have a Dedicated IP for each stealth account
