novemberrain is correct. They can and will delete shops so that you cannot login. They aren't the only ones who do that either. So, easily logging back in is not always the case which is why we were discussing the issue in the first place.

Same. It happens a little too often that they lock the entire thing up. It usually results in a few disputes as buyers see you are gone, send a message..you can't reply ..and all hell breaks loose. Probably their goal tho.

Yes I agree because then when PayPal cases start because Etsy told the buyer to go file them - often AFTER items were shipped just not yet delivered (like in international shipping situations) then PayPal gets nosy and starts poking around and often limits first and asks questions later. Sucks but that is what backups are for. Accounts that are associated on different platforms seem to be a lot like Christmas lights - one goes out they all go out!
