Kaepernick hasn't given anything up to indicate he can't bring 49ers to a SB win.
He's had an extremely successful career as a starter thus far. I've seen Eli Manning get benched at the point in his career that CK is at now, only to go on and take two rings with the same team.
He has a healthy Crabtree, along with Boldin, and now Stevie Johnson which will be very interesting once the two start to click on the field more. He didn't have these weapons last season. If he just improves on his reads, combined with this beefed up WR core and his natural athletic abilities to throw and run the ball, he can get the job done.
The OC Greg Roman scares me sometimes. I don't have complete faith in him.
49ers defense took a hit with Aldon and Bowman gone for the first half, the secondary looks suspect sometimes… the offense will need to do its job this season for sure. I'm okay with Harbaugh putting all his chips on CK. Really looking forward to this season.

my team is SF 49ers. Red and Gold all the way… really itching for a sixth ring.
Seahawks are looking fantastic. It's hard to grab a win in Seattle for anyone, but Seattle really dominates all aspects of the game. Their play-calling is on point. Being in the same division as them is tough.
What's your team rsot?

good to know! can't wait for game 1 vs cowboys! hope kaep silences the critics of his pocket passing. Our D is wearing thin with injuries and suspensions. Offense really needs to shine! Kaep has the weapons to get it done this season. Hope he meets my expectations!

Cowboys haven't done much changes in the offseason - 49ers should own them this Sunday

Solid thrashing of the Cowboys $$$ - never stood a chance.
Solid game plays through the NFL - few upsets too...

I would not be jumping up and down. A win is a win in the NFL but this team is far from what it was 2-3 years ago. Sooner than later going to 3 NFC Championship games in a row catches up with a teams ability to keep their talent.
49ers are now on par with the Packers. Their offense will need to win games because the defense is not there anymore.

our secondary played fantastic, our line was a little shaky. No bowman, no aldon smith. It's understandable. The previous few seasons our line was where the D shined, and the secondary was meh.
A TD scored on a forced fumble, Reids interception brought back to the 1 yard line, Patrick Willis's interception in the end zone. Perrish Cox intercepting the deep pass to Bryant. Okay, you can say Romo sucks, but those are big plays you need to give the D credit for in any league.
It's not gonna be as pretty when you play against a better offense, but I was expecting much worse from the 49ers defense.

They could have contained the run better but our secondary made big plays. And once Aldon and Bowman are back, forget it.

I will never forget Whitner taking out Pierre Thomas on the Goaline of the NFC Divisional game. He was out before he hit the ground.

MISS GOLDSON unfortunately you just can't keep everybody. "Hitner" was awesome too, but he would sometimes get burned in coverage.
I really liked what I saw from our secondary, I would love to see it hold up vs better teams.
