Trump being elected president would not be disastrous in any way. He has a firm grasp on international politics and business unlike any other politician. The idea he would be disastrous has been perpetuated by the media and established politicians because they know Trump will not be a puppet once elected, like any other candidate would be. Those currently in office are doing ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING to keep him from being elected because they feel threatened by him. But the reality is he's a brilliant businessman, while all other candidates are nothing but career talking-heads.
I live in the South and I can assure you minority turnout against Trump will be far less than minority turnout when Obama was elected. Hundreds of thousands of minority voters cast their one and only vote for Obama in 2008, and have not voted since and will likely never vote again.
I do agree with you about the two-party system being flawed, Hendo. Which is part of the reason I so adamantly support Trump. The Republican establishment BEGGED him to run as a Republican a year ago. But the same "establishment" now despises Trump because he can't be controlled by the party.
Denying Trump's momentum would be denying common sense. At this point it's apparent it will be Trump vs. Clinton. Hillary Clinton IS A LIAR. As others have said, she will say/do anything to gain support. It's shameful that anyone would rather elect a pathological liar over a successful billionaire.
Hendo - I appreciate the ongoing dialogue. Most on the forum have been ignoring this discussion, but I love talking politics |

Trump is absolutely as much of a liar as Hilary. I think that Trump is actually a true PATHOLOGICAL liar though.
I believe that Hilary will lie and say whatever people want to hear so that she comes off in the best possible light. She panders.
I don't think that Trump ever thinks about what he says vs. what he has said before. He speaks with the conviction of someone who truly believes every word he is saying in the moment. I don't understand how he can claim that he doesn't incite violence, when merely days before he was saying at his rally that he wants his supporters to hurt people, and that he will pay their legal fees if they do.

We all have instinctual racism in us that is a vestige of tribal living. People who were different than us were dangerous to our survival before we were civilized.
Allowing yourself to think, believe, or act in a manner that is racist based on those instincts is absolutely a choice. It is a choice exactly as much as making the choice to poop in a toilet as opposed to outdoors (as we would instinctually, pre-civilization) is a choice.

He's still a billionaire, which in my mind equates to a successful businessman. Just the fact that he's managed to stay in line with the stock market has to mean he's at least business savvy.
Regardless of whether or not he's self-made he's still not a career politician. They're the worst...

I am voting for Trump when this primary comes to CA. I was a big Ron Paul supporter over the past two elections. It use to be the Republicans who were the war hawks but all Hillary knows about the globe is what she has seen through the lens of a drone. That and her slush fund to pay off foreign dictators known as the Clinton Foundation. It is amazing the amount of money the Clinton's and Bush family have stole with their Haiti foundation etc. Anyone who has not read Roger Stones books on both the Clinton family and the Bush family I highly recommend. Hopefully Bill Clinton get exposed for his ******* son Danny Williams and his countless rapes that make Bill Cosby look like a saint.

I don't understand how you can claim war-haw behavior as a reason to stay away from Hilary, yet support Trump when he has made claims about all of "Islam" hating us, wanting to carpet-bomb the Middle East, and says that water-boarding isn't enough torture, we need more.
To be clear, I'm not disputing Hilary's war-hawking behavior. Nor her lying. I just don't understand how you guys can claim these criticisms, and in the next sentence support another candidate who is just as bad or worse.

Look at Libya it was the richest country in the Africa. Because Khadifi wanted a Gold backed Dinari, Hilary had him killed. They set up a new central bank the day after he was ousted. The country is a complete mess and Hilary belongs in jail cell with her husband right next the Bush family.
To me Trump is the only person who wants to Audit the Feb, and can not be bought and paid for by the Goldman Sachs lobby.

I hate to give Mormons credit for anything (seriously... it is absolutely absurd that anyone could stand by Mormonism) but its good to see that there is at least one group unified against Trump.
The Republican party is scary right now. While I think a Trump presidency would be terrible, I think a Cruz presidency would be worse. I think Trump is mostly ill-informed and delusional, while Cruz seems truly evil and deliberate.
