Switching Windows User Accounts... log off?

I have about 4 Windows User accounts on a Windows 7 computer, and my question is this:

Aside from linking by IP, is it possible for anything to communicate or get linked between 2 Windows User ID's if they are not "logged off" and I just "switch user" ?

How important is it to actually LOG OFF the Windows account? Or can you just switch from one to the other leaving them technically "logged on"?

(AGAIN, this is supposing the IP isnt an issue.)

Thanks!

Anyone have any idea just how much of Skype use is trackable by Ebay or Paypal? Like the IP that you're calling from (since they DO own Skype... do you think there is a way that they can (or would bother) to match computer/IP/whatever with the call, and time, location, etc...? Or some type of Caller ID that tracks by IP instead when you dont pay the subscription to have a Skype-out number...?

Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I'm in college right now and am having issues changing my IP address.

First, I have been told by the network administrators that the entire campus internet service is on dynamic IP, so that isn't an issue.

I have a Linksys router hooked up in my room and I've been changing the MAC address, but I can't get a different IP. I think the network isn't allowing my router to latch onto a different IP address.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Can ebay view/snoop emails with new email system?

So recently, all questions I get from ebay users are replyable to - yet they are all changed to some goofy ebay address, and they forward it. Used to be that you either got UseTheYellowButton, or it went to their real email address.

Now, it ALWAYS goes through ebay.

Anyone know if they log/monitor it?

I sell an item that can be physical, or electronic. It's against ebay ToS to deliver it electronically... but many people WANT it - and about once a day I get a "can you email it to me I need it now?" question.

I used to just reply "yes" but now that it goes through ebay, I'm afraid they are watching it.

Does anyone have any definitive answer to this? I'd hate to lose sales by not replying, but I'd hate to lose my account again by saying "yes" and having ebay nail me.

I KNOW they monitor ebay-sent messages. Its how I lost my old account. Phone rep told me "We know you're emailing them - the messages you sent via my ebay state it right there."

Just looking for a way to sell and not be harassed by those assholes.

Question about a second computer on Cable Internet

I have cable internet (Comcast, if it matters) and have a long standing, good, active Ebay account.

How can I add a second computer to the comcast line and give it a seperate IP address, WHILE KEEPING THE ORIGINAL COMPUTER AND IP so I can use both?

Is that possible? I'm happy to buy anything, to keep things hooked up with actual cable instead of wireless, whatever.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Responding to questions by other ebay members - trackable by ebay?

It used to be that when I received a question from an ebay member about an auction of mine - when I hit the reply button I either got their email address or a 'followtheyellowbutton' messege as their email.
In the last few weeks I noticed that this has been changed to another system wherein the email address is the user's name (or a variation of it) followed by @members.ebay.com
I used to respond to member if I had their direct email and if I realy needed to respond to the 'followtheyellowbutton' ones id log in to my ebay account. Logging in is a pain because it means switching to the user account and using my dial up just to do so - it gets to be quite time consuming.
My question is this - now that they implemented this new system does it mean that every single email I send as a response goes through ebay and on to the ebay member who asked the question? if so does it mean that ebay are now able to track me and link my various accounts if I use my actual IP and not the dial up when answering from within my various email accounts? It would seem to make sense to me that that is indeed the case since the IP address is logged with any email you send out (that is the case right?).
If anyone could confirm this that would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to buy several FIOS routers on ebay, then just keep rotating them during the day to get access to my stealth accounts. Would there be a problem at all doing this? Could I just plug in my new FIOS router and get online, or would there been a problem with Verizon not recognizing my MAC and blocking my internet access? Or, would I somehow have to mess around with my computer settings to get this to work smoothly? I'm not that teach savvy, so I'm wondering how easy this will be. I've done this before with a cable modem with no problem, but using a wireless router and FIOS is a bit different. How will my new router connect to the internet with my name and password that I'm using now? Thanks for explaining this to me. I'm sure it isn't as complicated as I'm thinking it will be.
