Default Special section for software development?

I'm thinking that the more and more we deal with eBay, and Amazon, the more we need to develop our own apps to adjust to them. Write our own bots, etc. the thing is, learning to write software from other places can be a pain, because there's a lot of verbiage that doesn't suit us sellers. When I learn something, it's usually based on need, and I think most of us are in the same boat here, that is software development for eBay and Amazon sellers. What do you guys think?

That's true, but those were more for software already written by someone else. I was thinking maybe software written by forum members would be more specific, but yea, that section looks good enough. Maybe we can all write some super software almost like Linux, vlc, audacity, or whatevers but geared for eBay / Amazon sellers haha.

Fine, the concept is OK.

But what of costs/payment etc?

Think GoA said the other day there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Hmm, the thing is most people can barely change their IP address.. let alone write software for eBay/PayPal.

I can see using existing applications and combining them, that's what I do when I'm in a pinch. I find tools that I need and make them work together, saving me lots of time.

For one, some of the stuff that we have to constantly do, maybe an automated user acct changer. I'm thinking a macro recorder can't do that because once the acct is logged off, that's it, the macro is terminated.

For costs and payments, it would, I guess, be similar to that github repository philosophy. Some people just have to chip in a little bit, just like the Linux community. Of course, I don't expect any projects to be actually done the way we want it, because none of us will get paid, similar to the quality of Linux freeware, lol.

I've written an amazing piece of software but when I request ability to post about it I don't get any replies and if I even so much as bring it up in a chat that I get booted and it gets deleted. Yeah okay the chat is for small talk but after some point small talk becomes pointless we need a chat for work as well.

I've already made such software but nobody will listen to me and I never get approved to write about it. It's not about free, its about contributing to the community and helping each other. So if one of our members, like me makes a piece of software (which I have but due to the rules I cannot mention what it is called or risk getting booted) then if the rest of us use that software that comes from a member then what is the problem?
