Changing my IP

Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
I purchased the stealth guide last night and so far so good.
I think it's brilliant.

However...

I have got up to the IP address changing part (not far I know!) and already have a question. On the guide it recommends various options for changing your IP but doesn't seem to suggest simply turning it off and then back on again a few minutes later. Is this not sufficient in changing the IP? I have tested it a few times and my IP seems to change every time. I am with SKY broadband?

So long as that method works for you then you are fine on that front, just make sure you track the IP addresses

Yep, if that changes your IP address, you're good to go.

Make sure to track your IP address, use IPBurger.

Turning off the modem, waiting, and turning it back on works well.
