Default My ad isn't showing up in Google Search??? - turns out my account was locked

So I've been selling digital items on ioffer. I noticed a competitor out selling me 10 to 1. (You can see all sold transactions on ioffer rated or not). Then I did a google search for the item I'm selling, and he is the only one who made an adword ad for our product, which led to his ioffer listing.

So I've just started making adword ads too. The thing is my ad isn't showing up in a google search for the keyword I want it to. Only 1 keyword. Its been 5 days now. I emailed google but they haven't responded yet. Although I am an adword noob, I think I set everything up right and the keyword isn't a high competitive market (only him). My cpc is .15 cents and daily is $3.00. I think I didn't bid too low. My competitor is raking in the sales! Any help or suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks.

Place your keyword in quotes.. like "eBay sucks" and bid higher... something like 25 cents.

Also add your keyword like this: [ebay sucks]

That could help, right now you probably just have broad match which won't help.

Thanks aspkin,

My keyword wasn't even in quotes lol. I've quoted them and increased to .25 cpc. If done correctly, what is the average time for your ads to show up?

If you're already approved by Adwords, usually within an hour. Contact Adwords to make sure everything is fine. Also check the countries you are listing in.

OH.. and disable the content network.. for now at least, it'll help your CTR.

Thanks aspkin. I did what you said, changed the cpc to .25 and keywords in quotes and still no go. I don't wish to contact google as they still haven't responded to my 1st email a week ago. I haven't disabled the content network yet. I'll give it a shot, frustrating!!!

Thanks for all you guys help and comments. I just got an email from google adwords. Apparently my account was under review??? They just unlocked it and my ad is appearing. They took 10 freakin days to get back to me. What if you had a campaign going and where you were trying to get clicks to your site. You can lose a lot of potential sales in 10 days. Slow ass google.

Another thing. The url of my sole ad changed. When I click on my ad, it goes to somewhere else on ioffer and not my listing. Strange to say the least. Has this happened to anyone? How can one get credit from google? It was pointing to another listing for 5 days, costing me $16. and no sales.
