Same authorize.net on two ebay accs?

I have two legit ebay top rated seller accounts in my name where the paypals are all dead but I'm able to sell on ebay fine. I got an authorize.net gateway and merchant account and hooked it up to one account so that there's automatic payments. I was wondering if it's possible to use the same authorize.net api login and transaction key to sell without paypal on the other account, since the accounts are linked anyway

Quick question: your eB are all merchant account-enabled?

I called support today to enable the merchant gateway on one of my two ebay accounts and the rep said it's fine to use the same merchant account and gateway for as many of my ebay accounts as I want. Of course my accounts in question are all legit and in my name, not stealth, but if you had two or more linked stealth accounts the idea would be the same, since authorize doesn't share info with ebay. I will be setting up my second ebay account soon.

Setting up my first account was very easy. I just followed the steps here: http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/check...s.html#payflow
After doing so you have to call them so they verify your gateway is working correctly with the cvv and avs and everything. No need to show merchant account statements since you're using a supported gateway

Well your accounts are linked then so just keep aware that if something happens to one, it is likely to affect all.

I dont tend to rely 100% on rep's advice...get it in writing and you can talk...most of the time, they dont have a grasp of what is going on, especially with merchant affairs

I read the post that revenge listed under the Authroize.net subforum..

This article advises that for multiple eBay accounts to oepn up multiple Authorize.net accounts to receive a different API to add to the eBay account.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Authorize.net give you a different API every time you ask it to give you an API?

Wouldn't that be suffice to add the same Authorize.net account to multiple eBay accounts..

With the thought in mind that none of your ebay accounts are linked?? Stealth , yours, etc..

I read the post, I be aware sign up merchant account with real information, what about sign up a Authorize. net give away, shall I also need to sign up with real information? shall I sign up the information like company name, ower name, address to matach my stealth ebay account?
